Our Mar-Schell's music Team
Dan has worked at a few different music stores in Winnipeg over the last 35 years. In that time he has taught drums and sold music equipment ! Dan feels the most important and most rewarding part of his chosen career is all the great relationships he has developed with other musicians, business owners, co-workers and clients. “I came to Mar-Schell’s Music in 2008 and quickly grew to love this store, having all that great gear on the showroom floor is just the icing on the cake” . As the manager of Mar-Shell's, as well as an avid musician for 50 years, Dan has developed a vast knowledge of musical instruments of all kinds. If you have any questions, Dan would love to chat with you !
The owner of Mar-Shell's Music, Mark has been teaching and performing locally for over 39 years. Mark founded the non-profit "Campfire Junkies" band program, which has contributed to local charities and the social scene in Winnipeg for over 25 years.
Kalen started at Mar-Schell's as a young student, eager to learn. Today, he is a wonderful pianist and trumpeter, and one of Mar-Schell's finest teachers.
Session guitarist, educator, repairman and composer James Creasey has over 45 years experience in his fields. From being an audio engineering teacher for the Manitoba school board, to scoring music for film. His tenure has taken him to the family of Mar-Schell’s Music as a repairman and educator. As a mainstay in the Canadian music scene Jim knows what it takes for an instrument to play to the best of its capabilities.
