Beginning at a young age, Hailey has been cast in various musical productions. Some notable roles include Sophie in Mamma Mia!, Vivienne in Legally Blonde, and the title role in Elton John’s Aida. After being cast as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, her classical journey began. Hailey recently completed her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Literature at Western University.
Hailey taught a first and second-year Sight Singing tutorial as part of her teaching assistantship for the General Integrated Musicianship course during her time at Western. In 2020, she was awarded an Ontario Graduate Scholarship funding her studies at Western. Hailey has performed with Manitoba Underground Opera for the past five seasons, Most recently she played Telaïre in Rameau’s Castor et Pollux, which MUO put on at the St. Boniface Cathedral in August of 2023.
Hailey brings performance arts to young artists, schools, summer camps, and rural communities as a guest artist and voice teacher. Hailey’s teaching practice focuses on cultivating self-confidence, communication skills, and musical technique, while celebrating art, creativity, and storytelling through song.
