Esteban has performed with Grammy-winning artists and Juno-nominated
musicians, toured across Canada, contributed to film scores and theatrical
productions, and recorded for projects spanning North and South America. His
debut album, What Blossoms from Bloodshed? (early 2025), explores the
cyclical nature of violence and war in human history, focusing on themes of
destruction, resilience, and renewal.
Influenced by drumming icons such as Eric Platz, Tommy Crane, and Francesco
Ciniglio, Esteban’s music blends technical precision with emotional depth. His
creative approach continually pushes the boundaries of contemporary jazz and
improvisation, making him a compelling and singular voice in today’s music
landscape.
